Key Responsibilities
Estimation and Quotation
- Prepare accurate quotations and cost estimates for steel structure projects.
- Analyse drawings and specifications to determine material, labour, and project costs.
- Ensure pricing reflects current market rates and project scope requirements.
Site Supervision and Project Management
- Supervise and manage on-site construction and assembly of steel structures.
- Monitor progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Oversee quality standards, safety compliance, and resource allocation.
Technical Collaboration
- Work closely with the Designing Draftsman to confirm design feasibility and accurate implementation.
- Identify potential technical challenges and implement practical solutions on-site.
- Support decision-making during project execution to prevent delays or cost overruns.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Matric (Grade 12) – Essential.
- Strong experience in estimation and quotation within construction or steel structures.
- Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
- Strong organisational and leadership capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Energetic, responsible, and solution-oriented mindset.
