The Organisation requires the services of a Human Capital Management Officer – Learning and Development within the Human Capital Management Division on a fixed-term contract of 24 months. This position will be based at Groenkloof National Park, Pretoria.

Location: Groenkloof National Park (Head Office)

Requirements:

  • Be in possession of a National Diploma in Human Resources Development /Management or Equivalent
  • Project Management Certificate
  • Code B Drivers licence and own car
  • Have 2–4 years working experience and 3 years of this, should be in a project management environment.
  • Understanding of Project Management principles
  • Proficiency With MS Office, Especially MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Sharepoint
  • Knowledge Of Good Corporate Governance Practices
  • 2 Years of Project Management Experience, Including Tracking And Planning Projects
  • Excellent Organizational And Team-Player Skills And Ability To Balance Multiple Priorities In A Changing Environment.
  • Understanding of the B-BBEE Codes and SETA Framework.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule high impact learning and development programs based on the approved budget.
  • Coordinate induction programs for new learners.
  • Coordinate implementation of non-cathsseta learnerships, apprenticeships and skills programmes as per setas requirements.
  • Develop and maintain learner recruitment & induction schedule.
  • Schedule steering committee meetings and take minutes.
  • Maintain learner tracker for all high impact programmes.
  • Compiling documents and reports for management review.
  • Assist in b-bbee report coordination.
  • Contribute towards the reporting of the workplace skills plan (wsp) and annual training report (atr) to the relevant setas.
  • Ensure effective and efficient management of information and communication within the department.
  • Collating of all project documentation and maintain a filing system.
  • Collate information from different sources for project reports as per funder requirements.
  • Ensure timeous payment of service providers.
  • Monthly reporting and tracking of spend and budget.
  • Perform finance journals on a monthly basis.
