The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology informs the general public that various scholarship and research funding opportunities in Japan are now available for eligible Tanzanian applicants.

These opportunities support Undergraduate studies, Master’s Degrees, PhD programs, professional training, and advanced research fellowships. The scholarships are offered by the Government of Japan (MEXT), JICA, Japanese universities, and leading public and private research institutions.

Call for Applications

Eligible Tanzanians are invited to apply for fully funded and partially funded scholarships in Japan. These programs aim to strengthen academic excellence, research capacity, and professional skills aligned with Tanzania’s national development priorities.
